I don’t know if you know this, but I was married for 7 years. That chapter ended in divorce. And while women often try to justify behavior with “I only reacted to him,” deep down I knew I had to take responsibility for my own energy. People used to say I was a good wife—and maybe on the outside, I was. But I knew I had more work to do on the inside. So I started studying. I read books. I listened to podcasts. I learned how men think, how they lead, how they love—and how we as women can soften without shrinking.

And then… I met my current boyfriend.
